Week 1 Stats

I assigned new MVJs for week 1. I wasn't sure if the database could handle people winning MVJ who weren't in the game, and I didn't want to blow the database up on Night 1. Also, I thought we should recognize the standouts of the night, there were a few bright spots.


Q- and his 31" stick! 3-3 in game 1. I love the sound of the DING! some of us should follow his lead I think.

Dries, tried to keep a rally going in the last inning with 2 RBIs. Failed, but good try though.

I distinctly recall Pancreas awarding [i]me[/i] the MVJ for the first game, and the database sure does support a non-playing MVJ... I've been robbed!

What was all that about SBM and Betsy not being eligable since they didn't play in the game?

It's because they're not players in the database, not because they didn't play. You can select any player in the database as MVJ.

Ok, well my arbitrary rule as Interim Manager is the person has to have played in the game to get the official MVJ.

You have no idea what it's like to be robbed!! I remember this time that I brought way more than the required amount of beer, and Vicker was playing. Damn Vicker!!

It is true Sac did have a hit the 1st game of the season, so it should be 1 for 3 in game 1, but it's all good...
